On my laptop I keep getting the error whea_uncorrectable_error. When I boot in safe mode the following drivers show a yellow exclamation mark:12c controller , system firmware, generic PnP monitor
Laptop is Acer Aspire ES1-311

Solution
update the drivers and BIOS from
http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers
group= notebook
series= aspire
product= aspire es1-311

looks like they updated the drivers at the end of 2014
and updated the BIOS on 2015/07/03

if you boot into safe mode some drivers might not be loaded and you would expect the warning in device manager.

whea_uncorrectable_error is often a indication of overclocking problems or overheating.
You want to make sure you are not overclocking in BIOS or running a overclocking tool (driver) and confirm you various fans are working and are not blocked (overheating)

Sometimes the memory .dmp file can be useful in figuring out the cause of the bugcheck 0x124. you can put it on a server and post a link if you want to.
