Droid DNA Being a PoS... again

Hi,
I have had this problem since day 1 of me having this phone. I've had it since July. The SIM card is not being read. At first it seemed to fix itself, but now it just simply doesn't work. I can't make any calls or anything. I've tried the ever so popular, "tape fix," and it still didn't work. I'm not sure if the tape was on correctly but I just don't know. I have contacted their support and they haven't replied back yet. Please help me. Thanks

Try getting a new SIM card, they do go bad or try it in another phone. It may be the SIM and not the phone that you are blaming

Ok. If I get a new one will all my data be erased? I have also heard that getting a new one will not help on a forum about this issue.

So it turns out my phone's SIM card reader was at fault. I had to get a new phone and now it is working perfectly fine.
