droid razr maxx not turning on

Recently, i plugged my droid razr maxx into the OEM wall charger with the OEM cable, but it wouldn't charge. all I got was a white light for about 30 seconds and then nothing, the charger works with anything else so i know it cant be that and so deos the cable

how old is the battery. take it out for a few sec and put it back in and try
