Dv6 1232et cpu upgrade

I'm using hp dv6 1232et laptop.This laptop comes with t6500 cpu.Can I use t9600 processor with this laptop and how I learn my motherboard model?

Yes you should be able to upgrade to an t9600 (you might have to update your BIOS though), you could also get the p9600 as it runs cooler than the t9600 and the performance is almost the same. Dont forget to get thermal paste as well
