Has anyone tested ANY brand laptop w this UNoverclocked configuration?:

AMD A-8 3550mx gpu and 1G ATI 7690m dedicated gpu.. Would like to know if it's a worthwhile investment, powerfull arrangement for the money. HP has thier dv6zq (Quad series) laptop, but test of any other will do.

Thanks for any help on the most powerfull (i think?) LT processor AMD has.

Also: Will a G force card be compatable with this cpu if installed later on ? They seem to always be paired with ATI... ATI is also the default gp.

I have purchased a Laptop from HP with this configuration. I have to say that I am very impressed with it so far. I have not found a game yet that I haven't been able to run on the best graphics settings. Battlefield 3 is beautiful on this. As for the Nvidia chipset. It would work later on but the processor has a dedicated Graphics chipset on it as well so you are actually getting a crossfire graphics chipset with 1.5GB of graphics memory. You will lose this in an Nvidia graphics card.

Thanks Beezer... It's good to here from someone who owns one of these. Thanks for your input about performance and also about Nvidia's inability to work with AMD's crossfire. you really helped me to make a firm decision... I'm going to take the plunge and order the thing with this config. - Think if I do.. I'll be a happy lapper. :)
