dvd drive no longer shows up in my computer acer scan does not show dvd drive what can I do to resolve problem?

What ¡s shown in the "Device Manager", on the CD/DVD-Rom drives section?

you can try reinstall the chipset driver... Sorry, i can see nothing better that could be done

Hi, you can try this, physically remove the DVD drive and reinstall it after. Maybe you have a bad connection between the DVD drive and the motherboard.
