DVD player attached to tv attached to soundbox problem

I have a samsung Blu-ray player attached to a Panasonic tv by hdmi cable. Tv is attached to Denon DHT-T100 by digital audio cable. Picture from dvd is fine but no sound?

Are you getting sound from the TV on other sources or the TV tuner/apps?
If not you may need to turn on the audio output and turn the TV speakers off in the TV audio menu to get it working.
Check the TV manual.
If you are then try changing the audio output type in the BD player audio menu to PCM.

Thank you for this. Unfortunately I have already tried both of these. Sound is fine anyway from the tv through the sound box. And the audio menu is set to PCM on Blu-ray player. Thank you for trying
