I just read this article on the benefits of sending ecards as opposed to real cards (http/ow.ly/fxXq3), and I couldn't help wonder if people sometimes perceive ecards as cheap, easy and impersonal.
I think of them not so much as cheap, but as a last minute lazy attempt to make up for the sender's previous lack of effort to acknowledge some event. I remember who sends e-cards and who sends the real thing or at least calls and expresses some live sentiment.
So, no you are not alone -- e-card users are lazy cheap slugs.

Am I the only one who feels this way?
I have many friends abroad and I just can't send everybody a regular card. It takes much time to choose and then to send it. Personally I like using e-cards. It's easier and you know for sure your friend will receive it. I've been using bdaycards.com for 2 years, it's free, moreover I get notifications which help me not to forget about my friends' birthdays! Many categories, connects with Facebook, nice cards and I just love using it!
