I remember seeing a prototype for that on the BBC program Tomorrow's World and that stopped airing in 2003. Long before minority report!

I think this device is really cool (even though I have seen these around for a while), but it isn't convenient to carry in your pocket, and if you have a backpack or briefcase, you can just carry a smaller keyboard or a fold up one, and those would be much better.
