Is the EG remote original to the TV? If it is the owners manual will tell you which button will change the way the TV displays different aspect ratios.
If it's a universal remote it may not have all the functions of the original remote. The Logitech Harmony universal remotes are programmed from their online database and usually have at least as many functions as the original one.
