[need of help]

I got a epson printer and id like to install it. So i searched for some hardware or any download i could find to add it to my computer and i do find helpfull links but they say that they cant help me cos my slooter service isn't running. I really need help on how to install harware so i can install my system. please can u help me. i also need to know if it is compatiable with window xp internet exployer. please, help me!!
