ERROR 0X8007 0426 , have correct Win 7 key but Windows reports error

cannot download certain items (takes ages ) reported error is 0x80070426. Have even tried to re-install win 7 with correct key on computer (DELL) .. no go

For starters, look in Control Panel>Services and check that the Software Licensing Service is running and set to Automatic.

Did you have a working system up to recently or did something happen that started the slowness of downloads?
