Error message in python

hi I am trying this code but cannot get it to work properly. It comes up with invalid syntax. Please can someone suggest something.

Can you run your code line-by-line (step-through) and identify which specific line presents the error?

Or you might add some test lines that display each variable while the code is executing.

While not a Python expert, it looks like you're not exactly joining the variable and string together properly. According to Stackoverflow http/stackoverflow.com/questions/10043636/any-reason-not-to-use-to-concatenate-two-strings joining two strings should require a + sign or the join function.

filepath = (letter':\\Python')

Maybe instead try:

filepath = (letter+':\\Python')

? Maybe I'm wrong, I'm more of a JS guy.

Thanks for the reply. I completely forgot about this. I have changed the code slightly as I noticed another issue with it and this is it now however it is still producing an error.

Error indicates something is believed to be a tuple and not a list.

I found this "definition".

"A tuple is a sequence of immutable Python objects. Tuples are sequences, just like lists. The differences between tuples and lists are, the tuples cannot be changed unlike lists and tuples use parentheses, whereas lists use square brackets."

To summarize:

Tuples ---> parentheses

Lists ----> square brackets

Possible mistype/misuse of () or [] ?
