Error with Direct3D

When i open my game on my laptop it says:
Failed to initialize Direct3D.
Make sure you have at least DirectX 9.0c installed, have drivers for your
graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration
in display settings.
InitializeEngineGraphics failed.

The games I am trying to play is PickCrafter on Steam.

Please help.

I currently have the exact same problem. I can't find any information about how to fix it. I have an HP ProBook 640 G2 running on Windows 10 April 2018 Creators Update if that matters.
