This has happened to me twice today so far. I will be playing World of Warcraft on my HP ENVY Dv6z-7200 laptop, and I will randomly disconnect. I will alt+tab out of the game, and it will still say I have internet access, and that i'm connected to my ethernet, but I won't be able to load any web pages or do anything on the internet. I've scanned my computer using Avast free antivirus, and a registered copy of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Pro, and it hasn't found any viruses.
Also, it's not my internet because I'll have my xbox sitting right next to me connected to Xbox Live, and when I get disconnected from my laptop, i'm still able to stay online on my Xbox, so something is wrong with my laptop. And if you were wondering, the wireless works fine but ethernet is faster.
If you were wondering, my CPU is around 55-60 degrees celsius when I play WoW, and I have a cooling pad and all. What gets me nervous is that the ethernet is right over where the laptop gets hot because the graphics card and CPU are on the left side.. I don't know if there is an overheating issue at 60 degrees celsius or not...
