Ethernet port blinks but doesn't boot

Hello guys I have a Acer Aspire 1430 Acer says motherboard is dead but I don't believe them 'cause the ethernet port is blinking


So my question can I still fix it or I really need to buy a motherboard ?

Just because the ethernet port blinks doesn't mean the whole board works.

What is telling you it is dead, aside from not booting?

Acer said it but a minute ago I examined the lights about every 5 seconds the wireless signal blinks red biut it should blink blue

But it still doesn't boot, right?
What does it actually do when you try to power up? Does the BIOS screen appear?

It does nothing

And the Capslock light blinks for about .25 seconds then nothing

Then it is most likely dead, as Acer says.

Wait I just remembered when we bring it to a technician he hook upeed a black and red wires that goes to a thing that shows voltage and it has the normal number in it

By the way I already accepted that the laptop is really dead what can I do with the parts of the laptop
Btw I am now using the Sata drive in my pc can i use its cpu

You can use the HDD. That's about it.

If you're very, very good with DIY electronics, you might be able to use the screen for something.
But maybe consider just selling the carcass. "Broken laptop for parts. $50."
