So recently my laptop adapter got burnt, so I bought a new one. I plugged it in today and soon as I plugged it in, the ethernet/wifi which is on the same side of the charging port stopped working, even the usb port to which I connect an external keyboard stopped working.
But the port on the opposite side where I connected an external mouse works perfectly.
As soon as I turn off the adapter, the ethernet/ Lan/ wifi starts working again and I could type with my external keyboard again. Something tells me that this new adapter is blocking power supply to all the ports existing on the same side of the charging port.
Guys should I return this adapter and get a new one?
UPDATE 1: Guys I just connected the external mouse to the usb port which is nearby the charging port and it still works. So it means that this is effecting only the Internet and external keyboard. Please help me guys.
