Hello guys;

I've been drooling on US website such as digital storm, xoticpc and others but I currently live in europe, Switzerland precisely.

And I really want to buy a new laptop. I play a lot of CS:GO but that's pretty much it and my budget is around 800-1100€, the cheapest the best.

Also I am looking for a thin, light laptop; preferably 15.6", I do not need a 880M in it or something too "High end"; but I'd love some SSDs, or a 7200RPM HDD; a FHD screen and something that does not overheat.

Thanks for your help in advance!!

does not know anything ^^

this is a thin multi-media customisable notebook made by a very good company - it can game comfortably at medium-high settings, it's not a beast but not far off.
Ideal setup for your money here is:
I5 4200M, 8 GB RAM, 500GB 7200RPM HDD, 64GB SSD, intel n or ac 7260
this configuration comes to a total of 1080 euros.
the screen is FHD 1920x1080p IPS Matte.

If you're worried about overheating then buy a decent cooling pad. Corsair doing a cracking one if I remember correctly.

Thanks!

What do you think about the lenovo y50 which will soon be available in europe ? And the MSI GS60 Ghost ?

Can you purchase from Amazon UK or Lenovo UK? If so, it's already available, but it's more expensive than in the states. I've almost given up on recommending anything for you guys on the other side of the pond because of availability and price. Here it is though if you hadn't already seen it. And for the money here it's about the best gamer for the money. Over there, IDK about that or not.

A dual core i5 with 850m? Plays medium high settings? And yet your heating solution is buying a cooling pad? Wow!
does not know anything ^^

Yup, definitely beats out my quad core i7 with sli 755m's. And buying a better cooling pad.

you said a g510, not a y510p.
CS:GO does not need SLI, and I don't think it even takes advantage of it.
the y510p weighs a lot compared to the m504 and is thicker (the OP wanted thin)
the y510 SLI battery life is terrible since it can't use optimus.
the SLI makes the y510p one of the hottest gaming laptops available.
Yes its best for raw power, but that does not make it best in every situation. Suggestions need to be relevant to the situation ^^
