Every time I close the lid on my laptop, my second monitor says "not support".

I've tried changing the resolution and telling my laptop not to sleep when I close the lid. It also only doesn't support when i'm on the desktop. When i'm playing a game i can close it and it has no problems. Nothing I've tried has worked.

Game resolution and desktop resolution can be different. Make sure the one you have set for your desktop is supported by the monitor/tv.
