Hi all.
We recently started using Hulu Live without commercials and since we don't have a smart TV we are also using a Roku stick. We have a 300 GB data plan and got a notice that we exceeded that amount last month. We do watch some Netflix and Amazon Prime shows but mostly shows on Hulu.
My question is are we streaming as soon as the TV is turned on regardless if we are watching local channels or a original series? How about when we record a show or a series to watch later......is that using data as well? My wife does watch quite a few short videos on Facebook but other than that we don't use data on tablets....just the one TV in the family room.
Any thoughts or suggestions on ways to help reduce the amount of data we are consuming each month so we don't go over the 300 GB?
Thanks for any help given
