Exilim camera only displays 4 latest photos

My wife's Casio Exilim (several years old) takes and saves pictures OK. However, when viewing photos on the camera, it will only show 4 or 5 (going back from latest) and then won';t show any more. The earlier pictures are on the SD card OK and can be transferred to, and viewed, printed etc, on the computer but not viewed on the camera screen. Any solutions?

actually those 4 or 5 photos are saved on your camera memory, not on SD card
So its evident that something may happened to your memory card.
But since u said that its working fine on the computer, so SD card is just fine.
i would just try removing the SD card and put it back again.
hopefully this might work out

Tanks for the idea. However,because I don't have a download cable (not standard USB) I take the SD card out each time I transfer photos to computer, so I fear your (sensible) idea will not do the trick.

Any other suggestions?

Hmmmmm,The most likely cause is corruption on your camera's memory card. That could be for any number of reasons, but the quickest solution is to format your memory card by using the camera's menu system to find the "format" selection. But before formatting ,make sure u have backed up al your photos onto your computer.
