I have scoured the internet for answers to this topic and was relieved to fight out many people had the same issue. But I wanted to get a definite answer (because most news involved hardware or designs from 2010s) about how I get get comparable gaming on my MBP 13in.
I have an Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014 with an i5 2.6Ghz with 8 GB of Ram with Thunderbolt 2. I have a 500w ATX psu which I hope will be enough to power a potential high end graphics card.
I saw the potential of the alienware amplifier as well as the pcie configs from banggood and the viDock. But I am still not sure of its function with my system (given that I want to play on the laptop screen)
I am looking to spend perhaps no more than $200 for a possible enclosure setup.
Does anyone else know of some portable options that can work?
