External mic not working

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series with 1 audio jack and I cant seem to get the external mic working. I am using bluetooth speakers and connect the mic directly into the port through a connector.

Make and model of your mic? We'll need the SKU to your laptop. Generally the unified audio por, means that it accepts headsets with one 4 pole 3.5mm jack.

On another note, make sure your audio drivers are up to date. Which OS are you on?

I am using Win 10 & my drivers are up to date. I use the ASIO4ALL driver in my DAW. My mic is a Dixon K-817 and my SKU is 10068473. I am using my 3.5 jack for the mic and got bluetooth speakers connected.
