External Screen Flickering.

Hello I recently purchased a Toshiba laptop with a Gefore 7600go in it. Anyways I like to plug it into my 19" Acer LCD monitor when I am at home and I noticed that when the powersupply is plugged in the external monitor flickers alot in horizontal lines going into a veritcal direction. Anyone have a similar issue or better a solution to this problem?

Oh and I also noticed that their is tearing occuring in games like World of Warcraft

Haven't had an issue with my external monitors and my laptop, but have had substantial problems with running dual monitors on my desktop. For whatever reason, the latest drivers out of NVidia don't like more than one monitor; guess they concentrated on SLI too much. I fixed my desktop by using older drivers... you might try that with your lappy.

Also check that the driver is correctly identifying the external monitor's refresh rates and timings.
