Hi to all and Happy New Year to all,

I have been looking at Laptops the last few weeks and between my searches i have (i think) narrowed my search with a config below.
Efficient and stable work PC is needed
Media - audio and visual conversions
Gaming - mostly shooting first player and driving games.
I currently own a MSI GX660 I bought 5+ years ago which done me very well - but it is starting to struggle only now and replacing it as all my work is on there....

I started looking at the dell XPS 15 & Inspiron 7000s, Asus Zenbook 501 and ROG 501 and the Schenker (XMG) ones.. During my research my searches always brought me back to Schenker.... So here is a spec I may be happy with and any help where I could improve or maybe look elsewhere would be much appreciated...

For £1,399 ($2,067 - €1,903) I would be looking at this config from the XMG P506 Laptop from Schenker.

To me it all seems good, nothing really bad about it. My only thing is that its a laptop and therefore its more for less. Do you really need the portability or could you get a desktop? You can get super small ones as well.
