Hello,

I have a Dell Latitude E6420 with these specs:
Intel I5 2520M 2.50GHz
Ram: 4Gb
Intel HD 3000 graphics.

When I first got the PC, it was running fine with no speed issues at all and the games that I played ran fine, such as F1 2013, Euro Truck Sim 2, Darkest Hour, etc... These ran at 50-60 fps in Medium/Custom settings. I had some issues like this before, I changed my HDD because I had a "Current Pending Sector" error but the problem still persists. I thought the issue may have been the CPU, as I saw it was getting strained quite a lot (100% even when opening up VLC) but I (think) stopped this problem by making start up stuff Manual. This was also doing it for my RAM but the same fix for the CPU fixed it. So I ruled out the possibility of it being CPU, RAM or HDD. (These might still be the issues, so if they are please tell me :) )
My graphics could also be an issue but I have no idea how to check. I tried updating my Graphic Drivers, multiple times. I tried deleting my graphics drivers and re-downloading them. I tried pretty much everything :(((

Please, someone help me!

Can u post all your specs using speccy?

Making startup stuff manual should not affect running Vlc . I think your pc must have been infected by malware or virus. And you stopped that virus or malware from auto starting by making everything manual. Download and run malwarebyte + Comodo Cleaning Essentials + hitman pro in safe mode.
