They are different. His is the 25th Anniversary release of the
movies. The one on ebay is the 25th anniversary special.

yes they are not the same..nothing special about the one on e-bay

Then I must have the same box set that the OP has. What's so special
about it? Is it really worth $150?!?!?

Probably not, since the Special Edition DVD releases for the first six films
came out. Especially when you consider the director's cuts of "Star Trek: The
Motion Picture" and "Star Trek 2." - Reinhart

That's what I thought. I haven't viewed this LD box set since the SE
DVDs came out. I was actually hoping that you would have told me that
the box set is very desirable and worth every penny of $150. Oh,
well.

My general opinion on the OP's asking price remains the same -- it's
way overpriced.
