I think it was Anerica and now we will here how the internet needs to be regulated by the government and all stupid people will flock and say hell yeah pass the law I'm in...

[citation][nom]nachowarrior[/nom]actually some regions of korea have a ridiculous connection speeds. I don't know why you're commenting with 28.5k? average cost of a 60meg connection is 25 usd over there. and that's considered "average".http://www.informationweek.com/new [...] D=14800041anyway, having said that, there's always going to be massive attacks on big sites due to the fact that there are a ton of people that don't know their system is part of a botnet, or just don't care except to call "dell" or "HP" and whine about their "slow computer". I like the idea of the isp's identifying ip addresses being used for possible attacks and blocking them... but that isn't the case with rogue isp's.[/citation]
North korea...wow you don't read the full comment, north korea is implied as it is what i comment on thus all i need is korea =p South korea is one of the most wired places in the world. And no North korea doesn't share internet or anything with South Korea. You really like to discredit your self?

Whomever can come up with a viable defense against ddos will be one of the richest people on earth. I wish I knew anything worthwhile about computers. I'd start work immediately.

[citation][nom]nitto555rchallenger[/nom]Why would Twitter do that when they all work hand in hand with each other? You can post tweets on facebook now.[/citation]

I wasn't serious....

It was probably Iran or North Korea or Russia who test new ways to effectively silence twitter / western medias for the next time the will need to. They can't prevent people to use it thought proxies or darknets, so they ddos the service itself...

wow i read the title and thought i had already heard about this but it was of course twitter. Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, they're all the same. I basically hear MyTwitFace every time there's any news about them
