factory reset acer aspire 4330

trying to do a factory reset on my acer aspire 4330 it originally came with windows vista but was upgraded while in school to windows 7. When i press alt+f10 or just f10 i get a edit boot options

If you installed 7 over the factory Vista... the Factory Vista is gone....

OK... IF you can talk to someone @ Acer, they will charge you ~$40 for a factory DVD set. They have some of the worst support around. Or they will charge $400 for a factory rebuild...

That's not really option right now. Is there someway i can do it with out a disk

not really... Not "Factory" "Out of Box" state...

do you have the Win7 disk?

If you do or can get one (same version as installed now)

No my college installed win 7 for me

...and you have no backup image, no factory disks, no OS disks, and ... you want to put it back to Vista..?

Try Ubuntu... It is free.
