Factory reset Acer aspire one without a disc or password

the aspire one should have a recovery partition to reset it to factory specs. i have one and mine has the partition. had to google what key combo to use to get it to boot to the recovery but give me a minute and i can look again. was not very obvious so i had to look it up.

what specific model aspire one is it?

If Math Geek's suggestion doesn't help, then you should be able to factory reset your computer on the motherboard. Just look in the manual that came with it, assuming you still have it. It should explain which pins to temporarily jump to do this. Just as if you were building the PC from scratch.
