I'm surprised he didn't see his own daughters pics on the poor guys cell phone......
Had he,the poor kid would have certainly had nothing left to photograph the the cops would have been called for another bobbited case....

I hope this William Atwood get the sentence he deserve.
I think I would prefer that my 17 year old daughter receives a genitals puicture (at 17 if she never saw genitals even in pictures I would be preoccupied), than seeing his father torturing a man in boxers tied at a chair in his garder.

That guy sent a picture of a part of his body to a friend as a (lame) joke. Other than him having a weird sense of humour, I fail to see the drama in that.

The father could have talked to the guy and explained him he didn't accept such pictures, but what he did was outrageous. Injuring, humiliating and threatening a person because he sent a dirty picture? Where is this man's sense of proportion? He should be sent to jail for a few weeks at the very least.

Great story Marcus Yam!! If all father acted like this there wouldn't be any storys about guy sending these types of photos to school ages girls. I really laughed at this "Moore said, adding that police laughed when they saw him tied up". That will teach em.

if i was the kid, id think kaching, the cops laughing at that situation... yea, id sue the cops for all they are worth. guy fired a gun tied him up and shocked him, in that order.

let me be 100% clear, trespassing can mean you stepped 1 foot on their lawn. different from breaking and entering, in which case, i 100% support lethal force.

this guy claimed trespassing, and did that, this isn't a lol moment from the cops.

that father is stupid, he was in the wrong in all places there. You do know that u have a option to view pictures or attachments sent by people, and its ur own fault for opening something like that up to begin with. so in otherwords its not a crime to send disgusting pictures.

Actually it would be a crime to continue to send disgusting pictures, you can be charged with harrassment if it continued.

A father has a legal and moral responsibility to protect his children and be accountable for their actions. At 17, the daughter is a minor. That 23 year old scumbag loser should be charged and convicted with sending pornography and solicitation of sex with a minor. That would make him a registered sex offender.

The father went way to far here for the sitution. I could understand if the guy got out, and then got his jaw jacked. Hey that I would say he should've saw coming. But torture really.. That's overboard and he deserves to get something from it.

This whole story is proof that people should need to get a licence to reproduce..lol

Sure, maybe the guy shouldn't have sent the photo to the girl but let's be honest, the "18 year old" line has been a grey area for the last 20 years. Threatening someone's life with a gun is, to make a major understatement, a gross overreaction. I hope the NRA is quite proud of this loose cannon because he's a perfect example of why owning a gun shouldn't be a civic right but a privilege. To all the people who are laughing at the 23 year old kid, try to remember, even at the "ripe-old" age of 34, I'm still the same A-hole I was when I was 15, I've just gotten better at it. At 23, you still have no idea about things and what is and what isn't acceptable behaviour tends to be different from place to place and person to person. Hell, in Canada, the legal age is 16 so I seriously doubt anyone with at least half a brain would bat an eyelid. This "concerned dad" should stop and think about what he did to become a dad. Oh yeah, he got laid. I smell hypocrisy.

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE STUPIDITY OF THE AVERAGE HUMAN.
