Would you feel any different if the FBI just wanted to follow you everywhere you went, recording each and every house and business address you visited; not the content of your conversations, just the address and the names of the people who lived there? Or for convenience sake, what if they just wanted to plant an RFID in you to record the same info and save on the manpower that following you would entail?
You're probably a great person, no reason for anyone to think different, but it is the folks who trust their government's judgement and discretion, who feel that they have nothing to hide; that allow the individuals running these agencies to whittle away, bit-by-bit at our personal freedoms in such a manner as to link protest with some kind of criminal guilt.
I'm not guilty of anything other than wanting to preserve every freedom granted to me by by virtue of being born American. I'll not willingly give up freedoms that better men bought for me with their lives. Freedom of Association seems to be the one at risk here...
