File error on sony cybershot camera

Hello,
The one answer already there doesn't help me. When I playback on the camera it sticks after about 6 replayed shots, with a black screen and the notice 'file error'. Then when I try to import my whole group of photos to my PC I see my photos briefly flashing up in micro form then the process halts at '99%' complete, presumably at the same sticking point as in 'playback', so there is no import. Can anyone help? Kenneth Graham.

How about you just transfer the photos to your PC one by one only. Or during you playback the pictures on the camera when go to the one said "file error", you just delete it and go to the next.

Did you try to connect the memory card to computer with card reader, and then see whether photos and videos can be played.
