find rtc battery in toshiba satellite l50d-b-16k

I have a toshiba L50D-B-16K. At first I got the message RTC battery is low Press Enter to set Date/Time. But now I can't even get that message. All I get is a blank screen. How can I change the RTC battery?

I don't believe that there is a separate cmos/rtc battery in the L50 series.
Is your main laptop battery dead, or does it still hold a charge?

I think it still holds a charge, since the battery led turns from orange to white when the dc adapter is connected. When I turn it up the led around the power button it's ON.

Try this: Unplug the dc adapter. Remove the laptop battery. Press and hold down the power button for at least 30 seconds. After that, put the battery back in (but leave the dc adapter unplugged from the laptop) and turn the laptop on by pressing the power button. What happens?
