Find the stolen laptop without using software

don't make the same mistake on your replacement, put a tracking app on first thing.

It's not possible to track your laptop without an app that has that function.

File a police report - they might turn it up. Notify the laptop manufacturer - it might turn up for service.

That might work if the person who steals it is a moron but most people who steal laptops probably wipe the drive and do a re-install of Windows.
