Hi folks,
I've used Firefox for a while and I'm sure that it never used to display website suggestions/addresses whilst typing in the main navigation bar...
Now, when I go to type in a website address, a drop-down bar address with 'www - Search with DuckDuckGo' instead of just displaying the URL I am typing in.
Now, I have gone into the settings and selected 'Use the address bar for search and navigation' and also unticked the options for 'When using the address bar, suggest: Browsing history, Bookmarks, Open tabs'. And I also unticked 'Provide search suggestions' under the Default Search Engine settings.
Firefox version 57.0.4 (Quantum).
Any suggestions on how to stop the navigation bar from displaying searches (and just allow me to type in addresses) would be much appreciated. By the way, is this behaviour happening on your version of Firefox also?
Thanks, D
