[citation][nom]jsloan[/nom]after installing ie 8 rc1 and having problem at a number of sites i frequently visit, like this one, ive installed and swithed to mozilla 3.0.6 and guess what no problem and i have a lot of nice add-ons to play with. if microserfs want my hard earned money they gave to do a better job.[/citation]

Yes, IE is free. For the record the latest RC1 update to IE8 improved this site's compatibility considerably; the "Submit" button doesn't have text over it as before and I no longer have intermittent crashes when browsing to the 7th or 8th page in a long article. In fact, IE8 RC1 works considerably better and faster than IE7 or IE8b2.

I'm no expert but I've only come across a very few websites that seem to only work properly using IE. This can easily be overcome using the IE tab add on which is only 1 of hundreds of possible add ons to suit any user needs. As a frequent Windows internet user I was the victim of many attacks from malware of all sorts, since I switched over to FF I haven't had anything mysteriously install it'self on my system.

1- For the sake of professionalism, the term 'Firefox Girl Porn', could drop the 'porn' on the end! Toms is becoming a branch of the sex industry? Or does it try to remain professional on computer info?

2- They indeed show the same girl of 2 days ago, only now with a firefox shirt (instead of an IE shirt), perhaps showing her attitude towards men as well.

3- The numbers are indeed far off compared to a couple of days ago review! I can and will not believe the majority uses firefox. Internet explorer comes with Windows, and the majority still uses IE.

If that would be the case I'm with Tindytim. I'll switch for security reasons, but as far as I know now, these numbers are off, unless previous article was off!!

Does it even make sense tom would contradict itself?

You should know that IETab only works because it opens an instance of Internet Explorer through Firefox, which means that malicious sites can still get malware onto your computer if you open them with that extension. That also means it's not an option for Mac/Linux people.

Bah, it's just a silly graphic. "OH NOES THEY HAVE A GIRL ARCHING HER BACK! IS TOMS NOW PART OF TEH SECKS INDUSTREE???" Please.
As to the numbers not matching, notice that these articles were written by two different people. Kevin Parrish apparently thinks that his source is superior, even though lots of people have pointed out the problem with it in the past.
