Come on, the card only cost $200! The fact that I spend $200 every 6 months on GPU's is just trivial!

Don't know about you, but I'd give the invitation to the party to a stranger or sell it on eBay. Wouldn't mind the 1 year gold subscription though.

I will never understand why people will wait for a few days in line for something new. When they can wait after the fact and enjoy it just as much. Too bad it is not Jan/Feb with a foot of snow in NYC. That would make for a better story imo.

The last time I read something like this, it was about the iPhone, or some iPod, I don't remember. Some of the first guys in line bought it, put it in a blender, then posted videos on YouTube.

Sounds like Microsoft is trying to use free swag and a party to artificially create the kind of pre-release lines that Apple sees.

IDK why anyone would wait in a long ass line for days to buy something wont be of any use for the next few weeks. There wont be any worthwhile games to play for a while, unless your freaking out for petting a 3d tiger... I always wait for actual reviews and to see some epic games that work well with the tech, then Id buy it.
