I cannot open my flash drive after by laptop battery went dead while the flash drive was inserted in the USB port.

USB port powers the flash drive. Battery dead, ergo, no power to flash drive.

It is an Imataion 8GB flash drive and I am running Windows 7.

My flash drive device won't work now at all after battery went dead on the computer. The actual drive in the laptop still works because I can use different flash drive devices in the USB port but the flash drive device that was inserted when battery went dead is what won't work any longer. Not even in another computer. Thanks!
