FM Transmitter?

Hey there,

I'v bought an Sony Xperia Sola smartphone and I was wondering how do I enable the FM transmitter to be able to listen to music on my Car stereo?

I'v found on the specs that it supports an FM transmitter, but I'm unable to find it where to enable that function

any device which can output sound via a 3.5mm jack technically supports a FM transmitter. these are the same ones you buy for an ipod or other mp3 player which plug into the headphone jack.

supports does not necessarily mean that the phone includes the function. most phones however do include bluetooth which can link to many new cars.

the fm transmitters are spotty at best. i've always connected directly to the aux input on my stereo by 3.5mm cable or by bluetooth linking.
