Fn+F4 and F7 shortcuts not working anymore (Y520)

I have Lenovo Legion Y520 laptop, and since yesterday my shortcut keys with Fn; F4 (mic mute) and F7 (airplane mode) haven't been working. The airplane mode is not an issue, but I use the mic mute button daily so it's been really handy. The keys itself are still working (tested it) so problem isn't with that, also all the other shortcuts are working (except they don't display this transparent icon on screen anymore when used, as some of them used to do).

Would anyone have any way to possibly fix this?

Try the following...

1. Uninstall the keyboard driver.
2. Reboot the computer (without reinstalling the driver).
3. When it restarts, it should reinstall the driver on its own.

If this doesn't work, you may wish to try connecting/reconnecting an external keyboard and see if it works fine. If it does, then it could be the keys themselves that are the issue.

Tried this, didn't sadly work. Also I don't have an external keyboard right now, so I'll have to see if I can get that tested or not. Thank you for the answer though.

Still haven't found a fix for this. Don't know what else to try anymore, since they just randomly stopped working. The keys itself should work though.

Until you can test using an external keyboard you won't be able to really tell if it is the attached keyboard itself.
