Hey guys, I just built a new i7-2600k and amd 7970 computer and was looking into folding at home. I've run folding at home before on my ps3 and was wondering about the differences in performance I would see between the two. I had folding at home on my laptop for a short period and was unimpressed with the performance and the GUI during folding. I guess that can be attributed to me downloading the basic client. SO... I was wondering if it's worth it to get folding at home running on my new comp and if so which of the high performance clients should I get? My system at the moment has not been OC'ed as I've been studying for an upcoming advanced cell bio midterm. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
