Solved! For The TV

Does anyone make a ALL in 1 media player or DVD player by this what I mean is I want it to do:

Austar
Free To Air
Stream Videos from the internet & from my pc through wireless preferably, lets face it cables are on the way out.

and I know its a long shot but record TV as well so I can get it of and onto my computer.

I have been having a look around but cant seem to find to much.

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

This is what a multimedia computer does. Is there any reason why a multimedia computer would not do all this?

Actually wires are not on the way out. Wireless has never lived up to it's claims, and a wired connection is still faster and more reliable.

ok not to sure what you mean by multimedia computer can you explain what you mean?

i know you can get tv cards for the computer

so then hook the tv to the computer what would be the best way to do it?
