formatted drive encrypted with BitLocker

Hii..I was using windows 7 and one of my drive having some important data was encripted with BitLocker.Then i formated my laptop without disable the bit locker.Now when i am trying to unlock the drive it is asking me to format the drive.i remember the password.Please help me how to unlock
it in windows XP.

You formatted the drive already? You will be stuck then. Try going to piriform's website and check there software.
