Found applications in C drive, all unused. Where do they go?

I found yhem on my hard drive, logged under applications, so when I attribute them were do I place them in order to use them.
Example: Click one on one application, so I attribute it, open it, now were do I place it to use it?

I recommend not moving executable files or you may not be able to run them afterwards.
