FPS Lock when laptop is not charging: Acer Nitro 5

When I run most games, the FPS locks at 30 FPS if the laptop is not charging, I've tried so many solutions, and none seem to work. I'd really appreciate if someone could help me out

Specs:
-8GB Ram
-Intel® Core™ i5-7300HQ 2.5 GHz; Quad-core
-NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti
-Windows 10

I'm sure you tried changing to performance mode when unplugged, right? The power saver option throttles laptops hard.

Alright, I had this problem also but here's an easy fix.
Step 1: Go to the NitroSense app.
Step 2: Click on the GeForce Experience near top right.
Step 3: Go on home.
Step 4: Look for where it says Battery Boost then it will show a green switch.
Step 5: Flip that switch, then it will turn grey which it will go to the Max FPS it can reach.

No problem .
