Question Free Firewall Software

What free firewall software do you recommend? I want it allow outgoing connection by allowing apps and games by default. I see some firewall software block by default. And what happened to Windows firewall after windows old version end of support? Is Windows firewall still secure and continue to use after end of support?

I'm on windows 11. I'm just worried what will happen to windows firewall in the future in 2031 after end of support by never receive windows update.

Either that or the options for free firewall software will have changes so significantly by then that to ask now is pointless.

Seeing as Win 12 is but a pipe dream, and the requirements for it are completely unknown....
There is NO need to stress over this issue.
