Free iPad Video Converter

Hello there !

Congratulations on getting a new toy on the block and there is a lot of things this little beast can and one of the features is 720p Video on amazing screen. I tried to find some video converters and I found that when there is a lot of multipurpose converters out there and they do provide a lot of things I can't find something specific and free. I it. So if possible provide a am looking for a converter to convert my MKV 1080P blu-ray rips to nice 720P Video so iPad can actually read it. I tried few free converters and they can handle divx and mpeg videos but when I tried to do MKV it's not supported. So thank you very much in advance and I am sure I am not only person who thinking about it.
