free video recording and video editing

I plan to record for youtube at least 720p
and need free video capture with no ad's
and free video editing software...

Video capture, go with OBS (Open Brodcaster Software). Great program, no adds.
For something that is dumbly simple, just use Window's Movie Maker for the editing lol.

From those stated above, I would use Lightworks - great program, but I found a steep learn curve with it
