Hi community. :hello:

How can I reinstall Intel Rapid Storage Technology software (version 12.8.0.1016) for Windows 7 x64?

The full story: Something has gone terribly wrong with the update from a previous version. My computer freezes while the update process was active, I had to turn the computer off and had to copy the Intel drivers manually from another computer to the HDD of the computer. Now I can boot the PC again (works fine, no problems or bluescreens), but I can't find the Intel RST software on the system. The program folder still exists: C:\Program Files \ Intel \ Intel (R) Rapid Storage Technology. Folder size: 20.3 MB (21,336,064 bytes). Contents: 276 Files, 51 Folders

I want to uninstall the broken version but can't find it in the windows uninstall list. I think I need to manually remove the program from the system, but I don't know how to do that correctly...
I downloaded the program (SetupRST.exe) and when I tried to reinstall it does not work. I don't have a RAID now, but I want to create a RAID 1 soon - so I really need this software.

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards
Andy
